CUT have completed subsea cuts on Harriet Alpha, an offshore oil platform in Western Australia, operated by Santos. Forty six (46) cuts were completed in total using our 18″ and 50″ DWCM and supporting equipment.
Harriet Alpha is the largest offshore platform to be removed from Australian waters to date. Installed in 1985 and ceasing production in 2013, Harriet Alpha was a pioneering development in Western Australia’s offshore oil and gas industry and forms part of a broader decommissioning program in the region.
Following the award of the engineering, procurement, removal and disposal (EPRD) scope to McDermott in 2024, CUT were awarded the cutting scopes by McDermott.
