2023: CUT completed a Cutting Trial to demonstrate the functionality of our new 240” Extended (315”) machine – the biggest diamond cutting machine in the world, by far. The test piece was a 2.5m OD shell, with 21 pipes fixed to the internal wall, and a 508mm central shaft. Height of test piece was 2.7m. The cut was completed in 4.5 hours. This machine will be used later this year on a live project. CUT rarely get asked to do a trial, but when we do…they are epic!
